Free Training: CRAE offers free training on equality and human rights law
CRAE is running free training sessions on equality and human rights law for children’s rights advocates and children.
The sessions will be held in CRAE’s offices in central London (94 White Lion Street, London, N1 9PF) on:
- Friday 25 January 2013 from 2pm to 5 pm
- Monday 28 January 2013 from 2pm to 5pm
The training will cover the Equality Act 2010, the Human Rights Act 1998 and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It will explain what these legal instruments mean for children, and how they can be used in practice by children’s rights advocates and children. There will be an opportunity for participants to discuss their experiences of using equality and human rights law, and to discuss how they might better use the law in their work.
The training will be delivered by a lawyer specialising in equality and human rights law.
If you know of a group of children’s rights advocates and/or children who would be interested in receiving the training, or would like to receive the training yourself, please contact Paola Uccellari at email@example.com ideally by Friday 7 December.
