The Charter of Fundamental Rights and children

Today, 21st November, MPs will debate amendments to the EU (Withdrawal) Bill which will preserve the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. As the Bill currently stands the Charter will be abandoned despite all other EU law being transposed into UK law.  We have worked with organisations across the UK to draft a briefing for MPs setting out the importance of the Charter for children and why these amendments should be supported.

You can read our joint briefing here
