Response from CRAE to the Consultation on Reform of the National Curriculum in England

CRAE's response to the Government's Consultation on Reform of the National Curriculum in England. Concerns highlighted include the narrowness of the proposed curriculum; the need for a specific requirement to teach human rights on the Citizenship curriculum; the CRC must be taught as a distinct part of the statutory Citizenship curriculum; Citizenship must be a compulsory subject at KS1 and KS2; and PSHE (including sex and relationships) must be a statutory subject.
