The EURIDEM Project: A Review of Pupil Democracy in Europe

A briefing setting out the key findings of research exploring pupils’ involvement in decision-making in education in four countries of Europe: Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands and Sweden. It looked at legislation on pupil rights and on structures of participation as well as actual processes and activities in schools and arenas for wider participation or consultation. It sets out key points iof interest for teachers, governors, local education authortities and school students and sets out 10 things each of them can do ensure pupils' wider participation or consultation locally and nationally.
