Last month, we submitted evidence to the Select Committee on the Children and Families Act 2014 as part of their scrutiny inquiry into the effectiveness of the Children and Families Act 2014. Our response focused on the independence of the Children’s Commissioner and whether the Act provides the Children’s Commissioner with the correct remit and powers.
